In the session, Mike discusses the CIO's struggle in building a partnership with the CFO, CEO, and other managers of the company and what you can do to establish credibility and win the minds and hearts of the business managers you work with.
Personal experiences and insight into IT employee work behavior are provided to explain the natural disconnect that occurs between the IT managers of a company and the business managers of the company. The challenge we all have is to focus our technology resource effort on the real needs and issues of our companies, but the sad fact is that more than half of us are out of sync with our business partners.
